Heart & Soul Swing Band: 16 musicians, led by Robin Hill, advised by Richard Michael, jazz musician extraordinaire, covering vocals, trumpet, trombone, saxes, flute, keyboards, guitar, bass and percussion, we bring foot-tapping good times. Spreading our sense of fun, giving audiences a great night in church. Traditional gospel songs and spirituals, favourite old hymns (now swinging!) and a range of original numbers. This is lively music with a lively message: where Rhythm & Blues meets the Good News. Profits from our performances benefit the work of the Church of Scotland HIV/Aids Programme, which works with partner projects at home and oversees to bring hope to individuals, families and communities living with the virus and the stigma which surrounds it. www.heartandsoulswingband.org.uk
